Business Law Thursday, February 18, 2010 5 - 7:30 pm $50 2 The Business Law session discusses business types, taxation, depreciation, and the impact of current legislation on your business. Employee Benefit and Safety Thursday, February 25, 2010 5 - 7:30 pm $50 2 The Employee Benefit and Safety seminar will cover recent changes in benefits, share tips on how to maximize employee benefit programs, and answer related questions you may have. The course will also discuss the requirements, legalities and financial impact of company safety programs. Q.  What is Contractor College?

Contractor College is a group of organized business related seminars where you can network with peers, have dinner and learn from industry expert about business applicable topics.


Q.  Why does Wheeler Machinery host Contractor College?

Wheeler Machinery hosts Contractor College because we are in business to help you do business.  With our state of the art facilities, technology and access to industry experts, we want to do everything we can to help you maintain and run your business.


Q.  When is Contractor College?

Sessions will be held on Thursday afternoons, beginning promptly at 5pm to 7:30pm.  They will begin January 7th and continue every Thursday evening through February 25th.


Q.  Where can I attend and what is a Live Video Feed?

This year we are pleased to offer Contractor College from 3 locations; Salt Lake City, Vernal and Hurricane.  How do we do this?  By sending the conference via a live video feed.  The presenters will be in Salt Lake City and we will provide a live audio/video feed to our Vernal and Hurricane branch stores.  Materials and dinner will be provided at all locations.


Q.  Does Contractor College count for my Continuing Ed Credits?

Yes!  For each session you attend, you get 2 hours of Continuing Education Credits that count towards the Utah State Contractor License.  You will receive a certificate as proof of credit.  Remember that you need to keep certificate(s) as proof of your credits for 3 years.


Q.  Will you be providing dinner?

Yes!  Dinner will be provided at all seminar locations.


Q.  How much does it cost?

It costs $50 per attendee per session.  However, each attendee will receive a $50 voucher upon check-in.  The voucher can be used towards any Wheeler Machinery product or service.
